Containing ‘many skeletons’ and painted with the Malaysian flag, the plane was found in thick jungle on the island of Sugbai.

A woman stumbled across the plane when she was out hunting for birds in the area, climbing into the fuselage and finding many dead.

According to local reports, a skeleton was still in the pilot’s seat, and he had his seat belt and communication gear on.

And although Police remain reserved about whether or not this could be the long lost wreckage of flight MH370 - which disappeared in 2014 - speculation is growing that this could be it.

However, the case becomes more complex after French authorities confirmed part of an aircraft wing found on Reunion island was from the doomed plane.

Experts say it would be highly unlikely that the debris had drifted from the Philippines to Reunion, as Borneo and the Malaysian mainland are in the way.

One thing's for sure though, if this was the wreckage of the doomed flight, it would finally allow the families of the 239 people on board to grieve for their lost loved ones.
