The 33-year-old South African was giving the women directions when he was bundled into their black BMW and driven 500km away.
At that point, the women climbed into the back seat and began fondling him, in an attempt to get him aroused.
They failed, and so forced him to drink an ‘unknown substance’ which enabled him to get an erection.
The three women took it in turns to repeatedly rape the man and collect his semen in plastic bags, placing it in a cooler box they’d brought with them.
After his ordeal, the man was dumped 500km away from his pick up spot of Port Elizabeth, where he contacted authorities.
The same methods have been used by women elsewhere in South Africa, where they also forced men to drink an unknown liquid before raping them and stealing their semen.
Police said: ‘This is really confusing because we have never heard of such a thing before. The man was fully conscious throughout his ordeal and he is still traumatised.’
The rape investigation continues.
