Man posts ‘share this’ photo on Facebook in a bid to find birth parents

A desperate man has embarked on a worldwide search to find his birth parents - can you help?

Regardless of how happy a life people can have with adopted or foster parents, there is always a little piece of us that wants to know who our birth parents were.

And now one man, in a desperate search to find out more about his past and personal history, has taken to Facebook to ask the world for help in tracking down his birth mother.

Holding up a sign, the man - who is based in America - has written: "My name is Kevin Sullivan, I was born on April 20th, 1972 at St. Vincent's hospital in Erie, PA.

"I am looking for my birth parents."

He added: "If you have any info, please call 814-853-1808 or 814-853-1804.

"Please 'like' and share on Facebook. Thank-you!!!"
