All of the letters are labelled for anniversaries, birthdays and the like, so that his wife Ashley and baby daughter Brynleigh will have a little bit of him on those special occasions.

Mitchell has covered each birthday of Brynleigh’s upto her 18th, with her 16th birthday envelope reading ‘Sweet 16.’
His wife Ashley has admitted discovering the letters has been rather surreal, and that she keeps expecting her husband to come back in the room, ‘and read them to me I guess.’
