Twenty-two-year-old Ben Blakely is accused of murdering seventee-year-old Jayden Parkinson last year before burying her body in a graveyard.
A court has heard how he buried his girlfriend in his uncle’s grave after strangling her.
As Blakely gave evidence at Oxford Crown Court, he said: 'I deserve a death sentence for what I've done.'

A jury heard that Blakely was ‘obsessive and controlling’ of Jayden.
He also allegedly threatened to post naked videos and images of her on Facebook in the hope that she would become so distressed she would kill herself.

The prosecution said that Blakely waited two days before burying Jayden after he murdered her.
Prosecutor Richard Latham said: 'She was more than cold, the body would have been stiff... There came a time when you had to manhandle her into the hole the two of you had dug.'
The trial will continue tomorrow.
