Like anyone looking for a date online, he wanted to make his profile as eye catching and appealing as possible.

And in a stroke of genius Jake Chapman, 26, asked his former girlfriends to give him a star rating based on his relationship performance.

Yup, he asked his former flames to ‘write a 1-2 sentence review about me for my Tinder profile and rate me 1-5 stars.’

Bizzarely, most of his exes agreed to the idea, with four spurned ladies giving him a sentence summing up their relationship.

While Faith gave Jake a shining review, writing ‘Jake’s awesome! He’s got some serious skills in the kitchen. Not really sure why I left yet, he’d be more attractive with an Australian accent though.’

Another said: ‘I’m married, leave me alone…’

Jake's gamble paid off

While Danielle said: ‘We were young and dumb, you were an asshole. Looks like you’ve changed & like your doing awesome now. (sic)’

However, Jake left out one very important ex, Taylor, who then messaged him her own review.

‘He’s got a job, condo, dog, fast car, can cook, good with his hands :) and is a complete sweetheart. The only thing keeping me from trying to be with him is 1,155 miles.’

She then texted Jake, telling him she’d broken up with her boyfriend, before sending him a screenshot of her flight ticket from California to Seattle.
