Lynette Gillard appeared on Deal Or No Deal back in 2008 to try and win enough money to have IVF treatment to have a baby.

Lynette opened up about her struggles to get pregnant on the popular show fronted by Noel Edmonds, and after seeing her on the show, George Michael secretly phoned up producers and anonymously donated the money to her.

The programme's former executive producer Richard Osman revealed that George was behind the mystery donation on Boxing Day last year - the day after George's death.

And The Sun have now revealed that Lynette has given birth to her long-awaited baby - and named her baby boy after the star.

Lynette told the paper that she hoped the late singer was "looking down smiling, knowing I have what I've always longed for."

She revealed how there had been some spooky coincidences - firstly, that she had discovered her pregnancy on Christmas Day last year, the same day that George passed away.

The new mum also says that his song Jesus to a Child was playing as she gave birth.

She told the publication: "The first time I held my little boy I said thank you to George. His song was playing and it felt surreal.

"He believed in me and gave me hope to keep trying even when I felt it was useless. His songs were playing on the radio when we went for our first scan and when I was in labour.

"I feel that George has been with me every step of the way."

Lynette's little boy has been named Seth Hart, with the middle name George after their benefactor.

A snapshot of a news article from 2008 circulated after Richard Osman's tweet, which many are saying is the same story.

A Mr Davies told an unknown publication that he and his wife Lynette had been trying for a baby for four years already, undergoing a gruelling three rounds of treatment and spending £14,000 on it.

Whilst there are a couple of discrepancies in the facts - like the amount of money donated and whether it was he or she who went on the show - we still LOVE this.

Congratulations to the family!
