Love is in the air as woman is reunited with ‘future husband’ with the help of American Airlines and Twitter

It sounds like a modern day love story, or something that should be turned into a film, but during a flight with American Airlines a woman met the man of her dreams.

Of course, just like any good romcom, Erica Demesek didn't catch the man's full name. Distraught, she tweeted the airline, begging them to help her be reunited with her dream man.

She wrote: "Dear @AmericanAir: just got off my flight with my future husband, but didn't catch his full name. Wanna be match maker? #flight1073"

Obviously American Airlines were not in the mood for romance as they replied that they couldn't give out customer information.

Erica didn't give up though. Instead, she tweeted back a reworded quote from Notting Hill, saying: "what happened to romance?I'm just a girl, standin in front of the world, asking an airline to help her."

Finally, they agreed to help her and reweeted her plea to their followers, before asking her for some details about the man.

"He was sitting in the front row first class wearing a blue sweater," she wrote. "His name is Clauco. He was born in Torino & lives in soho."

Erica amazingly managed to track Clauco down in New York. She tweeted her thanks, before adding: "But of course, in the spirit of love, I wasn't even supposed to be on that flight tonight #justsaying #flight1073"

And who said romance was dead? Is anyone else feeling feeling happy for them right now?
