Reports say that the seven-year-old was throwing stones at people and cars which led to his parents punishing him.

The parents confessed to teach their son a lesson they drove 500 meters away from where they left their son but when they returned they could not find him.

Yamato’s father said: “I wanted to discipline him, so made him get out of the car to scare him a bit. He’s an active, lively boy, but I’m worried how he’s doing."

Over 100 firefighters and police officers as well as members of the local community are currently searching for the young boy.
