A kidnapper was so annoyed by the constant singing of his 10-year-old hostage that he ended up releasing him.

Willie Myrick, 10, was grabbed by a man and bundled into a car outside his house in Georgia, America.

But the little boy's three hour ordeal ended when his persistent singing left the kidnapper at the end of his tether.

Willie, a fan of gospel music, refused to stop singing his favourite tune Every Praise - and it grated on the kidnapper's nerves so much that he was forced to let the little lad go.

"He opened the door and threw me out," the youngster told WXIA-TV.

"He told me not to tell anyone."

Willie has since been visited by the track’s singer, Hezekiah Walker, who said he ‘just wanted to hug him’.

We bet the little boy was pleased as punch to meet his musical hero!

The man who kidnapped Willie is still on the run.
