But the model has now said she will pay back every penny her operation cost.
She claims that she realises now that having surgery using public money was a mistake.
Despite boasting about it before, Josie, 23, insists she’s changed her ways.
In an interview with a UK newspaper, she said: “I feel terrible for boasting about having my boobs done on the NHS.”
And she claims it was after having a cancer scare that she realised that what she did was wrong.
Mum-of-two Josie, from Leeds, said: “I’m waiting to find out if a mole I have is cancerous and it had made me realise NHS money is too precious to waste on cosmetic surgery.
“I am going to pay back every penny that my breast enhancement cost the NHS. It’s the least I can do.”
But Josie doesn’t rule out boob jobs for people who suffer with confidence issues due to the size of their breasts.
She said: “I think it’s wrong to rule out boob jobs for women who suffer confidence issues due to small breasts.”
Josie, who had her operation in a bid to get her modeling career off the ground, continued: “If politicians are going to rule out boob jobs, I hope they are ruling out gastric bands for the clinically obese as well. Most of those cases are self-inflicted.”
