After a traumatic week in which she appeared to have some trouble in her personal life, Josie admitted that she had turned to religion to help get her through this difficult time.
Tweeting her agent, Rob Cooper, Josie wrote: ‘I’ve bought you a bible for your birthday (no joke) seriously…Read it, it’s fascinating! I’m becoming a Christian!’
As soon as she did so, many Christians from the twittosphere began contacting Josie, celebrating her choice to invite Jesus into her life.
‘So happy 4 u, I’m a Christian 2, helps a lot through the hard times in life’ wrote one tweeter.
Josie followed this up with a passage from the Bible, which read: ‘If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. (John 1:9)’
