They’ve had 'hand job' karaoke (yes really), and of course, the infamous Takeheshi’s Castle, but in the latest episode of Japan's AKBingo - two girls are ‘punished’ for losing a dodgeball match in the foulest way possible.

Two contestants, who lost a game of dodgeball, are positioned a few feet apart with a clear plastic linking their mouths.

Inside the plastic tube is the creepiest of crawlies - the cockroach.

The aim of the game is to make sure the cockroach doesn’t enter your mouth, and goes into your opposition’s, by blowing as hard as you possibly can.

And as you can see from this video clip - the inevitable happens - a cockroach ending up in one of the contestant’s mouths.

Later in the full length video, the loser bites down on the cockroach, chews it and eats it, as her fellow contestant looks on in disgust.

Last month, videos went viral of the Japanese game show in which male contestants are given hand jobs while they attempt to sing karaoke. They must refrain from 'finishing' until they have completed the song, and try not to be distracted by the ladies beside them.

Watch a clip of the show here.

Only in Japan, eh?
