Katie Price, 36, exposed her 49-year-old best friend Jane for having an affair with her husband Kieran, 27, on 7 May.
While Kieran has been busy trying to win Katie back following her announcement that she plans to divorce him, Derrick has apparently ended things with Jane.
A source told The Sun: “He would have been able to forgive a few slip-ups but this ended up being so much more.
“He is shocked that the woman he loved would hurt so many people, including him.”
According to sources, Katie feels that Jane being dumped is karma for her affair with Kieran and is secretly glad for her suffering.
The source added: “Katie’s view is that Jane will end up a nobody – sad and alone.
“She feels terrible for Derrick but wants Jane to suffer some of the emotional pain that she has gone through. In her view, this is the ultimate case of karma.”
Kieran broke his silence on the affair this week, taking to Twitter to ensure he would ‘fix’ his wife’s broken heart.
Katie, who turned 36 on Thursday, replied by posting a picture of the multiple bunches of flowers grovelling Kieran had sent her.
Yesterday she posted a cryptic message about trust, which said: “The saddest thing about betrayal is that it never comes from your enemies.”
