Several girls were called into the principal's office because they were wearing shorts - even though there is no school rule about it.
When one of the girls' mothers questioned the meeting, she was told that shorts were a 'distraction to the male population at the school.'
In response, the teenagers pasted posters around the school that read: 'Don't humiliate her because she is wearing shorts. It is hot outside. Instead of shaming girls for their bodies, teach boys that girls are not sexual objects.'
They signed off: '(It's not my fault my bare legs or shoulders arouse you)'.
Earlier this week, a schoolgirl in America spoke of how she was left humiliated and angry when asked to leave her prom for her 'provocative' outfit - despite adhering to the strict dress code.
The girl spoke of how chaperone fathers were leering at her from a balcony above the dance, and defended her choice of outfit which she says was less revealing than many of the others there.
