Identical twin girls Audrey Doering and Gracie Rainsberry who were adopted by two different families were reunited live on television this week.
The 10-year-old girls and their families were completely unaware that they even had a twin - and it's safe to say the moment they met for the first time was very emotional.
Both the Doering family from Wisconsin and the Rainsberry family from Washington decided that after each having three children of their own, they wanted to adopt another child.
The families, who live miles apart, both looked abroad for their baby and in China they found their girls.
The Rainsberry family adopted Gracie in July 2007 and the Doering family adopted Audrey in August 2007. Unbeknown to them, their daughter had a twin sister.
In December 2016 Jennifer Doering decided she wanted to get Audrey a personal Christmas present and with the help of a Chinese researcher, they discovered an unseen photo of the two girls when they were babies with their temporary foster parent.
Jennifer then found Nicole Rainsberry on Facebook and it wasn't long until the twin girls were talking on Facetime together. However, it was on Wednesday [11th] that the girls were finally reunited on Good Morning America after years apart and the moment was truly heartwarming.
How cute!
After the girls sat down Audrey revealed that she felt excited and happy and Gracie confessed: "It's very overwhelming."
N'aww.
Even though Audrey has her three older brothers she did admit having a sister was amazing: "I felt like there was something missing, so now it's complete."
The girls then spent the rest of the day together to watch the Broadway musical School of Rock and then both families ate at Planet Hollywood. After their day out they discovered they both like to scare pigeons and are both messy eaters.
Both families have already planned a holiday in San Diego together in March and in summer the girls will visit each other.
What a lovely moment for both families.
