Around 300 people stood in front Tom Crawford’s home in Nottingham, to stop the frail 63 year old – who was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2011 – from having his home taken away.

It’s the second time protestors have attempted to protect Tom, who’s locked in a five year legal battle with Bradford & Bingley over his mortgage, in the last six months.

The bank claim Tom owes £43,000, but the pensioner denies their claims.
