A study has found that the most wished-for holiday activities include foreign foodie experiences - and bungee jumping...

But apparently, people under the age of 31 aren't able to fully relax themselves and enjoy their holidays.

Yep, it's not until we reach our early thirties that we're actually able to completely chill out whilst on our holibobs, after six in 10 people admitted that they get back off holiday and feel like they've not even been away.

The survey, commissioned by Virgin Holidays, polled 2,000 people which found that people in their thirties would prefer reading a book on holiday and 27% want to do "as little as possible".

A quarter of people in their forties want to go somewhere "off the beaten track", and nearly a fifth are mainly interested in wine and cocktails.

Of people in their fifties, 27% want to learn something new whilst on holiday and 30% prefer cultural holidays.

Three in 10 people over sixty want to meet interesting people when they go away and are also the biggest advocates of multiple destination trips, group tours and cruises.
