A Facebook page Mason & Hawk was set up by Brandy Guettler and Tommy Buchmeyer who had twin boys Mason and Hawk.

The twins were born on August 8 2016. The Facebook page was originally created to keep family and friends updated on the twins health but the page has since got over 35,000 likes.

When Brandy went into labour she had to have an emergency C-section and while Mason was put in the neonatal intensive care unit for a few hours, his twin brother Hawk was born with Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia.

Because of this rare condition Hawk was kept in hospital and placed on an Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation machine.

However, when they were both 11-days-old they got to meet. On the Facebook page an adorable picture of the pair was uploaded along with the caption:

"This picture was taken a 11 days after they were born, it’s the first time they have ever touched and as soon as Mason felt Hawk he reached out for his arm and smiled this big.

"We thought it was time for everyone pulling for our boy to see this picture."

How cute is the photo?

The powerful picture has been liked by over 125,000 people and shared over 29,000 times.

Unfortunately, on Wednesday (7 September) Brandy and Tommy announced on Facebook that Hawk passed away. In a status they wrote: "Our hearts are saddened this morning as our sweet little man was called home to be with Jesus.

"He went very peacefully and we know he’s no longer suffering. Please give us some time to grieve and try to start the healing process."
