20-year-old Becky Tait has tragically died after committing suicide.

She was killed by a speeding train in the same spot where fiancé Phil James died just two months earlier.

Phil, 19, took his own life after struggling with mental health problems. He had attempted suicide several times before his death.

According to The Mirror, Becky had been admitted to hospital after she struggled to ‘cope’ with the deal of her ‘soulmate’.

Becky, who worked as a care assistant, had been left ‘traumatised’ by Phil’s death, according to an inquest hearing at Cannock Coroners Court.

Deputy assistant coroner for Staffordshire South, Margaret Jones, told the court: "Becky Tait was a very young lady who was clearly traumatised by the death of her boyfriend.

"She was a very unhappy lady. She clearly had been since the death of her boyfriend some weeks ago in similar circumstances.

"This was a tragic event and her death deeply affected a lot of her family and friends."

One of Becky’s doctors said: "The plan was to keep her safe and well until she was no longer feeling the suicide feelings.

"She was given some suggestions for coping strategies and was also told she was going to be monitored in the community.”

They added: "She said she no longer had suicide thoughts and hence she was discharged from the ward."

Our thoughts go out to Becky’s family at this difficult time.
