Dimitrina Dimitrova, 29, got her dream proposal for her boyfriend while the pair holidayed in Ibiza.
As he got down on one knee on a cliff top, the beautiful views of Cala Tarida flanked the couple - an area famed for its sunset views.
But as she began jumping up and down with joy, Dimitrova lost her balance and fell 65ft off the cliff.
When paramedics arrived she was alive but unconscious and she died at the scene minutes later - apparently from a heart attack brought on by the fall.
‘She fell seconds after her partner surprised her by proposing to her as she jumped up and down with emotion,’ a local Civil Guard said.
‘Everything is pointing towards the death being the result of a tragic freak accident.’
The woman’s devastated waiter boyfriend had sourced the beauty spot to make his perfect marriage proposal.
