It has been reported that footballer Ched Evans will become a father 10 months after leaving prison.
Evans’ fiancee Natasha Massey is due to give birth to their first child in January.
His sister Kylie confirmed the news via her Twitter account, writing: "I'm going to be an aunty again I can not wait for the new arrival in January :) congratulations to my brother and Tash xxxxx."
The former Sheffield United star served half of his five year sentence after being convicted of raping a 19-year-old woman in May 2011.
The crime led to Evans being place on the sex offenders register indefinitely and a fierce debate over whether her should continue being allowed to play professional football.
Natasha defended Evans on an appearance on This Morning earlier this year, claiming that he was innocent.
She said: “I know that Ched is innocent. I understand he was convicted by a jury of twelve people. And of course, I love him and I’ll continue to stand by him.”
The shamed footballer is currently applying for an appeal in light of alleged ‘new evidence’.
The Criminal Cases Review Commission has stated that Evans’ victim will learn whether an appeal is to take place before the dad-to-be.
The victim has sadly been forced to changed her name and move away from her family.
A spokesperson from the CCRC said: "We must make sure that the victim in any case does not find out a decision through the media.
"It is out of courtesy so victims are not confronted by a massive news story. We will notify the victim first of the decision, then the claimant."
