Kevin Mead, 70, and his wife Ruth thought there had been a horrific accident when they heard a crash outside their house in Melksham, Wiltshire.
But to their shock- and disgust- the noise was in fact a frozen chunk of super poo, which was so big it had left a hole in their car roof.
Thankfully no one was in the parked car at the time, however Kevin was then left with the unpleasant task of placing the iced faeces and urine into his freezer for insurance claim purposes.
The couple say the offending item fell from a plane toilet, 30,000 ft in the air.
Speaking about the incident, Kevin said:
“It was just as if someone had crashed into our house. I looked up and there was a gaping hole where a large lump of ice had impacted the roof.”
Ruth Mead added: “Thank goodness it didn't hit anyone. It could have killed them.”
Approximately 25 ice falls in the UK are reported to the Civil Aviation Authority each year.
What a stinker.
