A young man has begun taking fearless selfies from the edges of high rooftops via a camera attached to his foot.

Scott Young from Basingstoke started his new pastime by taking a photo from the edge of a 20-storey building in Delhi, India last month.

His next feat was doing a handstand on the edge of a 40-storey skyscraper in China.

Scott does not use any kind of safety harness and the only thing stopping him from falling is his skill.

He said: “When you do a handstand, you have to focus on the ground in front of you to keep your balance.

“If it's only a few feet away that's fine, but I look right down to the bottom of the building - it's so far I just have to block it out of my mind.”

Scott’s mum is so terrified of what might happen to him that she refuses to look at any of his photos or videos.

He admitted: “She got a bit annoyed when I showed her the first video, so I've stopped telling her about them now.”

We don’t recommend anyone else try this at home, as Scott is a professional freerunner and stuntman who has appeared in movies such as The Amazing Spiderman.

Scott explained how he plucked up the courage to perform his first death-defying handstand:

“We were in India filming and I just thought 'why not?'

“It was scary but I'm very confident with my body and what I can do.”
