Farmville notifications bordering on harassment, the shock of seeing your ex in a photo with someone (who can't REALLY be that hot? Can they?) and colleagues' friend requests breathing down your neck.

Just some of the horrific things that we put up with for the benefit of our precious Facebook addiction.
