Donald Trump under fire for ‘vile’ comments over Paris shooting

Donald Trump has been labelled a ‘moron’ and ‘vile’ for blaming the recent Paris shooting on France’s lack of guns.

The property tycoon faced a heaving response of criticism to his comments on Twitter stating that France’s ban on guns was to blame for the shootings at French satirical magazine, Charlie Hebdo.

Donald, 68, tweeted: “My condolences and prayers to the victims of the terrorist attack in Paris.

“Why does Obama continue to release the worst of the worst from Gitmo?! Look at Paris and wake up!

“If the people so violently shot down in Paris had guns, at least they would have had a fighting chance.

“Isn’t it interesting that the tragedy in Paris took place in one of the toughest gun control countries in the world?

Some Twitter users posted their support for Donald Trump, some even shockingly suggesting he should run for US President.

“Remember, when guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have guns!”

Users of the site responded with many bemoaning tweets, a lot of which including the word ‘moron’.

However some Trump supporters did respond with supporting remarks, a few surprisingly urging him to run for President.

Barack Obama, David Cameron and Chancellor of Germany, Angela Merkel have all vowed to stand up for freedom of expression.
