‘Don’t come on holiday if you have a baby.’ Parents receive letter criticising them for bringing their child on ski break

Anyone who's had young children knows - holidays can be a stressful time for parents. With a tired infant in tow, plus about twenty bags of extra baggage, there can be fraught moments for those in charge.

So imagine this couple's reaction when, whilst on holiday at a ski resort, they received a snotty letter telling them they should have left their child at home.

The note, that was posted under their hotel room door, read: 'Thank you for bringing a screaming baby to a ski resort and wak[ing] up everyone near your room several times during the night.'

Adding: 'Babies don't ski, no reason to bring them to a ski resort. They should stay at home with family or [a] nanny.'

The pair were holidaying in Colorado when the incident occurred.

The letter writer chastised the pair for being 'selfish' and bringing their baby who then kept hardcore skiers up all night.

'I stayed at home when I could not get help,' wrote the author.

The mother of the baby shared the letter with her brother, who keeps a blog called Dadontherun.

In his blog post entitled 'Don't like Kids? How Very Childish' the brother criticised the author of the note - suggesting that there would always be something that could upset them - be it a dog, alarm clock, or adults coming home drunk.

What do you think? Would you be annoyed if your holiday was disturbed by a screaming child? Or is it just one of those things and something you should get over (perhaps with a pair of ear plugs.)
