There’s no point denying it; Imgur is usually a black hole of semi-funny memes, wild accusations, and cat photos.
Mainly cat photos, to be honest.
However one recent post on the image sharing site has opened our eyes to a whole new world of sweetness, true love, and seriously inspiring women.
It looks like nothing special, to be honest; just a sleeping woman, surrounded by books, curled up in a tangled duvet.
The accompanying post, however, hit us right in the feels.
It read: “My 38-year-old girlfriend just started her second quarter of college.
“She's raised two kids, 15 and 10, on her own, has p**s all parents and was the victim in not one but two domestic violence cases.
“This is how I found her tonight.”
He added emotionally: “I’m so proud of this woman I could burst.
“We went wedding ring shopping earlier today and I think I'm ready to make the best decision of my life.”

Also, I'm gonna take all of y'alls advice and marry the shit out of her. Send me all your love stories.FP Edit 2: some dog tax http://imgur.com/fd5p67A](http://imgur.com/khv4nP5)
N’aww!
The post was an immediate hit on Imgur, unsurprisingly, and encouraged many people to share their own stories.
One wrote: “As a 25 year old woman who never finished college the first time because of an abusive ex… I’m restarting college tomorrow.
“This hit me in the feels.”
Another added: “Posts like this restore my faith in people.
“Treat her good, OP. A good woman is something to treasure.”
Touched by everyone’s comments - as well as the hundreds of messages telling him to “marry the s**t” out of his sleeping beauty - the random good guy decided to share an update with his followers.
He said: “Thanks for all the kind words of support you guys!
“This woman profoundly inspires me and it sounds like she has many of you.”
He added happily: “Also, I'm gonna take all of y'alls advice and marry the s**t out of her.”
He also shared a cute photo of them both, smiling and wide awake this time.
“I showed her the post and comments and the love about broke her,” he told those following their story.
Fingers crossed they share photos of their engagement soon, eh?
