Proving that absolutely anybody can become besties, a Dutch Shepherd dog and a rat have become inseparable.
And their unlikely friendship is so adorable that Osiris and Riff Ratt have their own Instagram account with nearly 40,000 followers.
The pictures show how close they really are and it looks like they love spending time together.
In one snap, Osiris is letting Riff Ratt lick the inside of his mouth.
Gross, but still kinda cute.
Their owner Mickey Alice Kwapis assured followers that Riff was not in danger of becoming an afternoon snack.
She wrote: “This is super tropical. Riff Ratt really likes licking the inside of Osiris’ mouth.
“I’m sure you all are wondering if we’re afraid Osiris will eat Riff – NOPE! Osiris has helped foster and care for dozens of animals and he is the gentlest dog I’ve ever met. See for yourself!”
We can definitely see – Osiris looks like he wouldn’t hurt a fly!
