The leaked video shows teacher Christiana Owusu jumping up and down on the backs of children after they failed to do their homework.

Lying motionless on the floor in front of their classmates, the two helpless children - believed to be around 8-years-old - can be seen wincing in pain.

Their teacher, meanwhile, appears to be enjoying the experience, even stopping to talk to someone off-screen in the midst of her jumping.

According to reports, the teacher's pupils have been enduring this form of punishment for some time.

However, following the release of this video, Owusu has been arrested and fined Gh¢1200 - which is around £227.74 in British Pound Sterling.

Bright Appiah, of Child’s Rights International, has condemned the act and slammed the teacher's punishment as "weak".

She has now called on the parents to “be bold enough to sue the teacher and the school.”

What do you make of the shocking footage? How would you react if these were your children?
