With a chilly feeling in his heart, the worried father took in the fact that the room was tidy and all the mess had been picked up.

Then, with trembling hands, he opened the letter.

It read:

Dear Dad

It is with great regret and sorrow that I'm writing to you. I had to elope with my new girlfriend because I wanted to avoid a scene with mum and you.

But it's not only the passion… she's pregnant.
