Courtney McKenzie, 27, and her fiancé Jamil want to raise $30,000 from various companies so they can have their dream wedding in Thailand in December.

Companies can have their logos sewn onto the bride's dress and the groom's tux, and can also have it shown on various social media platforms.

Jamil and Courtney have a combined social media following of 30,000 people - a very attractive prospect for many organisations.

Miss McKenzie is a digital media consultant, and realised she could draw on her expertise in marketing to fund her ambitious wedding plans.

'We will be hash tagging, tweeting and instagramming our way through Thailand to our over 30,000 combined social media followers and we want to include some of our favourite brands on our adventure' she said.

The couple's decision to include corporate sponsorship has not been without criticism, with many said it's tacky and tasteless.
