It seems that Victoria isn’t the only one who holds onto first date keepsakes, with many other women revealing that they have saved sentimental items for years in order to remember falling in love with their other halves.

Chaz Thompson wrote: ‘I still have the outfit I wore on the night I first met my other half 11 years ago. Sentimental old fools. Lol (sic).’

Dawn Dixon writes: ‘I have mine to from 9 years ago still fits but too short now lol’

Posh has held on to her first date dress for nearly 17 years

Gemma Rutter shared her adorable love story: ‘When me and my husband were at college together I threw a double decker chocolate bar at me and it hit me on the head, I told him he was a twat for throwing it at me so to say sorry he brought me a drumstick lolly lol I said I wasnt going to eat it and I never did, I put it in a box with all the letters he sent me and the pictures we had together, unfortunately it went all manky so I had to chuck it away but I had it for about 7 years (sic).’

Even the little things we hold on to due to their sentimental value, just ask Louise Edwards, who wrote: ‘I have a rose petal from the first rose hubby bought me its all but disintegrated its 22 yrs old in vacuum packed bag.’

Sandra Feeny also shared her first date outfit tale, writing: ‘I still have the jeans and top I wore on my first date with my hubby too. Hoping one day to fit back into it.’
