When a primary school pupil became unhappy in his assigned classroom seat, he decided to take matters into his own hands and write his teacher a letter.

In the handwritten note, the pupil declared his reasons for requesting a seat change, with the main reason being conflict over a very important pencil case lock.

The letter read:

“Dear Ms Stouffer, I do not like my current seat! This is because I sit near Tori. We do not get along because our pencil cases both have the same locks. One time, I played a trick on her by locking her case with my key because she does not have her own. This is the reason why I do not like my seat.

“P.S. If you agree please move me in the empty seat next to (name censored) because I find her kind of attractive. If I do get the seat please do not announce this in front of the class.”

It is not known if the teacher accepted the pupil’s request and moved him to an empty seat next to his crush, but judging by the censoring in the letter she definitely made an effort to make his adorable pursuit of puppy-love as secretive as possible.

We’re guessing this little boy’s next school report will feature a line about his ability to ‘take initiative’!
