Taking to Twitter, Madison Jade appeared to be writing a sweet message to her high school footballer boyfriend, writing: ‘Thankful for my trustworthy boyfriend and friend.’
Accompanied by a split screen of her and her hunky boyfriend, alongside an image of her and her best friend, Madison even included three hearts with her seemingly loving message.
But in the second half of her tweet, the high schooler turned the tables on her dishonest peers, writing: ‘Glad yall had fun last night making out (sic).’
Ouch.
Shaming her boyfriend and pal for getting together, the tweet has promptly received 46,000 retweets since it was posted at the weekend, with Twitter users celebrating the teen’s ‘savage’ response to the news.
Later, the student took to Twitter to advise everyone not to be too hard on the pair, writing: ‘Everybody makes mistakes just like I’ve made my fair share but I ask to not hate or huge these two bc they are only human. I am sorry.’
Other students of Wall High School in New Jersey also tweeted their awkwardness as they speculated on how the week would pan out with the three students.
