When transgender Rajee Narinesingh had lip and cheek fillers she hoped it would give her the feminine features of her idol Angelina Jolie.
Instead, she was left with unsightly lumps all over her face after an unreputable surgeon injected her with illegal substances that shockingly included cement and superglue.
Rajee, 49, says: “For 10 years, I lived in hell. I was in chronic pain and was diagnosed with depression and post-traumatic stress disorder.
"I felt like a monster and was terrified to leave the house. Now, after successful reconstructive surgery, I’m much more confident.
"I’ve got lots of male admirers and hope to find love. ”
