The wannabe celeb revealed that she is planning on having a termination so she can appear on the Channel 5 reality show but received huge online backlash.
Speaking in an interview with a UK newspaper yesterday, Josie said: “I’m finally on the verge of becoming famous and I’m not going to ruin it now.
“An abortion will further my career. This time next year I won’t have a baby. Instead, I’ll be famous, driving a bright pink Range Rover and buying a big house. Nothing will get in my way.”
Model Nicola McLean was one of the celebrities to hit out at mum-of-two Josie, 23, posting: “Totally outraged reading about that stupid sl*g that wants an abortion so she can go on big brother !! She doesn’t deserve children.”
Josie was also met with huge criticism from the public online, with one user writing: “This Josie Cunningham is an absolute disgrace. She already has 2 kids and they are going to be mortified when they read what she’s done!”
Another posted: “I am pro choice but I am also sickened by Josie Cunningham bragging about getting an abortion as part of a publicity stunt.”
According to a source, bosses at Channel 5 are now adamant she will not appear on the reality show.
Speaking to a UK newspaper, a source said: “Josie is deluded if she thinks this will improve her chances of signing up, which were slim to non-existent to start with.
“How can we work with her – or pay her – if she admits having an abortion to achieve that? It would be a minefield.”
