According to police, the duo have stolen a Bugaboo pram from the King Alfred Leisure Centre, Hove.

They did so by encouraging a young child they had with them to push the pram, worth £700, into a lift.

Judging by CCTV footage, the woman was then seen wheeling the same pram out of the building, accompanied by a man.

Speaking on behalf of Sussex Police, PC Grant Hebblewhite said: "CCTV reveals that they used one of the young children they were with to push the pram into the lift before the woman was seen pushing it out of the building.

"The theft took place just after 7pm on 24 June."
