CCTV footage captures terrifying moment woman is abducted on street

22-year-old nurse Carlesha Freeland-Gaither had just visited her godson when she was snatched from the pavement at around 9.40PM.

In this chilling footage released by Police, with the hope of catching her abductors and finding Carlesha, a man can be seen dragging the nurse along the pavement towards his awaiting car.

Carlesha kicks and screams as the man tries to wrestle her into the car, with her even breaking a window during the struggle.

During the incident, another vehicle pulls up to the suspect’s car, but reverses and does a U-Turn, allowing the car to get away.

MISSING STUDENT HANNAH GRAHAM FOUND DEAD AFTER MONTH LONG SEARCH

‘On Sunday, November 2, 2014, at approximately 9.40PM, Police responded to the 100 block of West Coulter Street for a report of an abduction. A witness was located and stated that he observed a female, identified as the complainant, Carlesha Freeland-Gaither, yelling for help, and being forced into a 4-door vehicle, possibly a grey coloured Ford Taurus.

‘As the complainant was being forced into the vehicle the complainant’s glasses and cell phone were dropped onto the highway. Just before the vehicle pulled off the driver and passenger side rear windows were broken out by the complainant.’

BODY FOUND IN ALICE GROSS SEARCH

The suspect is described as a black male, 5’10”, medium-heavy build, 25-30 years of age. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark jacket, with dark coloured trousers.

Anyone who lives in the area and has information on this is matter to contact the Philadelphia Police Department immediately.
