22-year-old Louis Evans was nicknamed ‘Rusty’ and teased for his freckles by cruel bullies whilst he was at school.
The bullies are now eating their words as Louis has been snapped up by a leading modelling agency and has graced the pages of British Vogue.
The model also appeared at Milan fashion week, where his ginger hair and fair skin have become his most sought after features.
‘In places like Milan, Spain and Greece they adore red heads and put them on a pedestal,’ he told Metro.
The striking model continued: 'I like to think it's the fact I'm slim, tall and have the face that's got me noticed, but I think having red hair does make me different.'

Not only was Louis teased for his red hair, but he also suffered from acne, which severely dented his confidence.
Louis said: ‘I got to 20 and suddenly I just had cheekbones and my acne cleared up.
‘I didn’t have the confidence before to apply to the modelling agencies. My mum kept saying I could do it and I just kept saying ‘No, I don’t know’.'
Louis says about his upbringing: ‘It was quite difficult growing up in a small town. People are very close-minded.’
‘The worst thing is that I had acne. I wished every day that it could be gone.’
Louis’ mum, Jo McCall, is a former beauty queen (where he gets his model-esque looks no doubt) and she supports her son’s fashion career.
She said: ‘I am just very happy that he is having all of these amazing experiences.’
The 45-year-old added: ‘He is really working hard to achieve his goals and I am very proud of that.’
