Richard Edmunds, who hails from South Devon, snapped several selfies of him next to his cannabis plantation, which he had set up in the bedrooms of a shared house.

Along with housemate Joshua Langmead, Richard incriminated himself with several text messages, photos and of course, the massive number of cannabis plants in his homestead.

The pair admitted possession of cannabis with intent to supply at Exeter Crown Court this week, while Edmunds also admitted production of cannabis and possession of ecstasy for his own use.

Richard and Joshua were caught when their house was raided by Devon police in October 2014. 20 pots and 240 grams of cropped cannabis was found at the property - with a potential street value of £2,300.

The photos in question were from earlier in the year and so showed a separate crop to the one found during the raid.
