Time to debate - is this okay to do at someone else’s wedding?

Bride upstaged by man’s mid-wedding proposal - and the internet is furious

If there’s one thing we know about weddings, it’s this; you should never, ever, EVER upstage the bride.

That means you don’t wear white, you don’t bring your own entourage, and you definitely don’t start grinding up against the groom on the dance floor.

Most importantly of all, you should NEVER hijack their happy nuptials and turn it into your own party.

You know, like this guy did:

The photo, which has gone viral since it was uploaded to Reddit, shows a man popping the question - right in front of the bride and groom's table.

“Any girl’s wedding nightmare,” it is captioned - and, judging by the forced smile on the bride’s face, that’s definitely true.

Plenty of people have commented on the image, which has since gone viral, with the majority of them FURIOUS that someone would steal a bride’s thunder like this.

One wrote: “Her smiles says ‘congratulations’, her eyes say ‘that b**ch’”.

“Don’t be that guy,” said another.

A particularly incensed individual added: "I would fking kill that mother-fking b***h!"

Our favourite response though?

“D_ck move, man. D_ck f***ing move.”

The people in the photograph have yet to be identified (although some have suggested that it’s a best man and a bridesmaid, judging by the outfits), but we imagine it won’t be all too long before they’re named… and shamed.

Then again, there could be a perfectly innocent explanation for all of this - and maybe the bride herself was in on it all. After all, happiness is there to be shared, right?

What do you think - is this OK to do at someone else's wedding?
