Amazingly, Sarah – who’s originally from Liverpool – has now been reunited with her son after the horrifying incident after 20-month-old Freddie was found abandoned in a local park.

The terrifying kidnap happened last Friday evening, while Sarah, 39, was feeding Freddie.

Around 6pm, a man – who is still unknown to local police – burst into the home Sarah shares with her husband and grabbed Freddie from his chair, before running off and getting into a car parked outside with another woman.

Incredibly, Sarah – who’s lived with her husband in the Malasian city for over three years – held on to the car as the pair sped away, before the attacker jumped out and confronted her with a machete.

The brave mum squared up to the man before he got back into the car and sped away. Horrifyingly, Sarah desperately clung onto the car once more, breaking bones in her foot, as she held on the vehicle.

Shortly afterwards, Sarah raised the alarm and a huge search was launched for the toddler and just 24 hours later, Freddie was found unharmed in a local park.

“Thankfully Freddie was fine. Thank god he’s too young to remember.”

Friends of the couple, Robert and Claire Waller, have now spoken out about the incident and have revealed how they are hopeful that the man and woman who tried to take Freddie will be caught.

“We have no idea why the kidnapper did what he did,” says Claire.

“We’ve got some pretty good CCTV footage from Sarah’s neighbour’s house, so I’m confident they’ll get him.”

Police are now searching for the couple who took Freddie and are hopeful that they will be brought to justice.
