UPDATE: Police say they have found a body in the search for 7-year-old Conley.
It is not yet known whether the body is that of the missing little boy.
50 police officers and a police helicopter joined forces with the public in the search for missing school boy Conley Thompson.
The alarm was raised last night when the little boy failed to return from Locke Park in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, to his home in Worsbrough where he had been playing with his friends.
As it began to rain heavily overnight, concerns have grown for Conley’s welfare and safety.
He is described as being white, with short ‘mousey coloured hair and blue eyes’.

He was wearing a blue checked shirt, red shoes, a black coat and brown trousers before he disappeared.
The head teacher of Worsbrough Bank End Primary School made an appeal on Facebook for information.
Nichola Thorpe wrote: "Dear families, can you help? Conley is missing since last night (Sunday) and the police are looking for him.
"We pray that he is safe and has stayed with friends. Please share and spread the word to get him home safe and well."
There has since been ‘heavy police activity’ around a building site on Bank End Road in Barnsley, which is located between Conley’s home and the park where he was last seen.
If you have any information regarding Conley Thompson, please contact your local police.
