This horrifying video shows the moment a school bully started to beat up a blind boy at his school. The fight, which took place at Huntington Beach High School in Southern California, was filmed by a bystander. In the footage, the unidentified bully starts to relentlessly punch the defenceless blind boy – who cowers from each blow.
But his sickening attack is soon stopped by the blind boy’s heroic classmate, who suddenly runs in and fells the bully with a single punch.
In the video, the boy who came to the victim’s rescue can he heard shouting: “You trying to jump a f****** blind kid, bro? What the f*** is your problem?”
He is then seen dragging the visibly shaken blind boy from the scene.
The school are now looking into the incident and it’s been revealed that the boy, called a hero for stopping the bully, has been suspended and dropped from the school football team.
A petition to reinstate him has now reached 1,000 signatures with his classmates and other local people arguing what he did saved the young boy.
The website where the petition is online reads: “We believe [the teenager] should be back on his football team and back in school where he belongs. While violence is never the best option what [he] did to defend his friend and classmate was justified.
“And schools 'zero-tolerance' policies out even the person saving disabled friends.”
