Ryan Anderson, from Cairns, Australia, has set himself the task of taking pictures with every dog breed he can get his hands on, after being inspired by a film to do so.

After watching The Big Year, which tells the tale of birdwatchers trying to spot as many different species as they can in 12 months, Ryan was inspired to try a similar thing with dogs.

We never knew dingos were so cute

Ryan, who works for Queensland Government with their detection dogs, has always had a passion for animals - previously having jobs at a cattle station, in feedlots and as an animal control officer.

'I really have a passion for the dogs and volunteer with a rescue organisation here in Cairns fostering rescue dogs and cats,' says Ryan, 27.

And although the Australian sees his quest as 'just a bit of fun' we have a feeling his story is going to spread across the internet.

Here he is with two Dashchunds

Anderson can be seen posing with everything from an American Staffy to Daschunds to a Great Dane on the Instagram paged dedicated to his mission.

It looks like Ryan - who works as a Detection dog handler - pretty much spends his entire life with super cute animals, including kittens, kangaroos and even dingos.

Just look at all those adorable pups.
