Nina Evans’ interview comes in the wake of the former footballer’s statement, in which he asked the public for a second chance.
Nina, 53, argued her nephew’s actions are unforgivable and pleaded with him to apologise.
“He deserved to go down as he was found guilty — he did rape her,” she told the Sun.
“Ched won’t grasp or listen. He won’t admit he’s done wrong. He’ll never show remorse.
Speaking of Evans’ video statement, she added: “It cut me like a knife. I hoped he’d come to his senses and say the right thing. What about his poor victim? It’s a massive insult to her.”

Evans has had his case referred to the Court of Appeal in an attempt to overturn his conviction. He has always maintained the sexual act in May 2011 was consensual.
In the video statement, he said: “I made an incredibly foolish decision and failed those people who trusted and believed in me.
“It is a rare and extraordinary privilege to be permitted to play professional football. Now that I served the custodial part of my sentence of two-and-a-half years it is my hope that I will be able to return to football.
