When his little girl accidentally wet herself, this hero dad took THE BEST action ever!

Lots of children wet themselves for lots of different reasons - like falling over, and hating sports days, it's just a part of growing up.

But obviously, it can be quite upsetting for kiddies when it happens - especially if it's in public.

And that's just what happened to 6-year-old Valerie.

However luckily for Valerie, when she had an accident at Kindergarden, her dad Ben Sowards made her feel better in THE BEST way.

When Ben's wife, Connie, called to tell her husband that their daughter had had 'an accident' at Kindergarden and was upset and wanted to come home, Ben felt awful.

"My heart kind of just broke," he told BuzzFeed News.

But then Ben had an idea. He'd cheer Valerie up with a brave show of solidarity. Yes, he decided to wet himself too.

NO! Not like that! He simply splashed some water on the front of his trousers and set off to collect her.

And as he predicted, Valerie’s frown soon turned upside down.

"She was laughing about it… It was so funny," Ben explained.

The gorgeous story came to light after Valerie’s older sister took to twitter to share her dad’s awesome show of solidarity.

Alongside three pictures of Ben and Valerie, 17-year-old Lucinda wrote: “My little sis had an accident today at kindergarten & this is how my dad left to pick her up so she wouldn't feel so sad/embarrassed 😂😂❤️"

A strong contendant for dad of the year, we think!
