Jaxon Lal, who’s just three years old, could soon become the envy of kids the world over. It's no secret that many kids dream of one day becoming a professional football player, a dream that may come true for Jaxon's after his mum took to Facebok to publish a video of her tot's footy skills.

After mum Joanne Radcliffe posted a video of her son playing football in the garden, Manchester City academy coaches reportedly got in touch, asking to meet little Jaxon.

The three-year-old hopes to one day be as successful as his heroes Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

Speaking to the Manchester Evening News, Joanne said: "I posted the video of Jaxon playing in the garden on Facebook and it was shared once.

“Next thing I had a call from a City scout. I couldn’t believe it - I thought it was a wind up at first.”

And it's mum Joanne that the talented toddler has to thank, as aside from uploading the video that got Jaxon noticed, it was his mum that taught him his ball skills as she often plays with Jaxon and his brother Riley, four.

But the taste in teams is not something that was passed down. Mum Joanne is a Manchester United fan, while her little ones have decided that City is now the team to support in the build-up to meeting the coaches.

“Jaxon can’t wait. It’s like Christmas for him every day,” Joanne revealed.

"He keeps asking how long he has to wait until he can play.”
