Disney's Frozen has captured the imaginations of children everywhere and, when this man's 3-year-old daughter fell in love with the movie, he vowed to introduce her to snow for the very first time.

"I was bound and determined that my daughter and son would see snow and that we would make an Olaf snowman"

But how?

Revealing his story on Reddit, her father (better known as MrMacNCheese) explained: "Living in the south, we do not get snow very often.

"My 3 year old daughter is in love with the movie 'Frozen' and has never seen snow so I decided to do some research and find out how to make snow.

"I was bound and determined that my daughter and son would see snow and that we would make an Olaf snowman."

The dedicated father started experimenting with nozzles and temperatures and all sorts of complicated things until he had found the recipe for snow. And, one night, he set to work.

In the morning, his children woke up to 7 inches of snow - and they loved it:

"My children loved it and the entire neighborhood was completely confused as they drove by our house on Thursday morning.

"The look on my children's faces was priceless. I know everyone from up north will think I'm an idiot for doing this."
